About the Event
The Moth GrandSLAM is the ultimate storytelling championship, inviting winners from The Moth’s open-mic StorySLAMs back to the stage to battle for the crown. With a full slate of local storytelling pros, you know this night is going to be good.
Come experience fierce, hilarious, and sometimes even heartbreaking stories at the Moth GrandSLAM live.
THE NIGHT’S THEME IS…OFF THE RAILS. Listen as ten StorySLAM champs tell tales of veering off track: unexpected detours, willful disregard of the beaten path.…or temper tantrums. Malfunctions of better judgment or the surrender of “Somebody please, take the wheel!” Trainspotting, mass transit nerds and The Little Engine That Could. Seating is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the show. Admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals.
