This November, The Moth celebrates 25 years of the NYC StorySLAM. 25 years of New Yorkers artfully letting it all out. The “I can’t believe they just said that” stories. The heartbreaks, bad decisions, big reveals, questionable choices, and yes, the occasional overshare. 25 years of filling a room with complete strangers and finding out way more about them than you ever expected.
This one-night-only event celebrates the stories, storytellers, and beautifully unpredictable format that started in New York City 25 years ago — and has since spread to 29 cities around the world.
Expect unforgettable stories from across the StorySLAM’s 25-year history, familiar faces, unexpected guests, and a few surprises we’re not giving away yet. No notes. No fourth wall. Just The Moth at its most unfiltered.
